I know not everyone is a fan of Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks, so I’d love to know your experience with the lipsticks. I’m happy to report that these lipsticks are not drying, and the formula itself was one of the things I was really impressed with. This nude-pink shade is absolutely beautiful, universally-flattering, and works for any and every occasion.

These portable blushers are Charlotte’s secret to glowing, flushed skin for a faultless, fresh finish every time. Each shade is a creamy, colour-rich texture containing finely crushed pearls to give skin a limitless glow. As you can see, this shade fits in perfectly with Charlotte Tilbury’s other lipsticks. There are similar shades in the collection, and Rose Kiss is most similar to Pillow Talk Medium, but they are still different enough for me to justify owning both. As with all of Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks, this is another hit from the line that I can’t get enough of.

As someone who normally purchases $10 or less drugstore lipsticks, the pillow talk price tag of $34 is definitely higher than what I’m used to paying. Also, if you’re the type of person who likes to wear the same lipstick shade everyday, then again this is one of the best lipsticks you can buy for versatility. I am warm undertoned; olive who looks grey in winter and dirty honey coloured in summer. I need true autumn lipstick colours and this isn't it.This is very drying and emphasises all my lines. I’d love to see your take on the CT quads Christine like you did for the ND palettes, using the massive library of shadow singles from like CP and SG.

I think it could have still had a bit more contrast, though, and still been as easy to use, since the formula was easy to sheer out. It’s nice….but I seriously just don’t get the hype surrounding this quad. I’m not sure if it’s because others are using this with primer or are just enjoying the simplicity of it?

Pillow Talk #1is a soft peach with strong, warm orange undertones and a frosted sheen. It had good pigmentation with a soft, lightly dusty texture that was a little thinner than ideal (particularly for using over bare skin but fine over primer). The eyeshadow blended out easily–a little too readily–and had a drier look on my skin. It wore well for seven and a half hours on me before fading noticeably.

I found it lacked depth/dimension on my NC15 lids, so I can’t imagine this is useful to anyone with a complexion even slightly darker than light. Pillow talk medium lipstick is a beautiful lipstick that is slightly darker than the original shade with warm-berry pink tones. Pillow talk original lipstick is a gorgeous, universally-flattering, nude-pink shade that compliments each individual’s natural lip color and skin tone. While these lipsticks are a matte finish, they’re not overly drying, and have a really nice and comfortable velvet-smooth feel on the lips.
I could see using 3 of its shades for a monochromatic, simpler look for business or for others who need a quick, easy look. Plus having that singular pop for day into evening usage. Debating whether to buy this or the Pillow Talk quad, as this palette is quite the investment. From the first two trios you can kind of get the same look as in the quad, though I prefer the Day Smoke shade than the pink in the Original Pillow Talk quad. Absolutely love the Smoke in the Date look, I think it would look beautiful on green eyes. Again, I am glad this performed well but there are just too many shadows here that I either wouldn’t use of are too similar to other shades I already own so I won’t be getting this.

In terms of being long-lasting, I would say these lipsticks do a great job of staying in place for several hours without having to do touch-ups. Seems as though she does indeed lack inclusion of anyone Medium or beyond. The only exception may be those Cat-eyes e/s singles from a few years back, which would have worked on anyone and everyone! Unfortunately, that’s where the brand’s inclusiveness ends. Hers is not the only brand guilty of excluding us, but it is one that does so in a way that makes it a brand that only barely gets my attention for that reason. Whilst this isn’t my kind of palette, I think it has been well done. The shimmer and matte shades had both decent pigmentation and depth to them.
